Polar Bear

We chose the Polar Bear as a symbol for the Building A Better Planet logo.

The Polar Bear has become a world wide symbol for climate change. Our human impact is creating a different landscape and it has brought the majestic Polar Bear in an endangered position. The Polar Bear showed us the negative impact our way of life has on the natural world and all its inhabitants around us.

We humans are not alone on this planet, we get to share it with species who were here first and build millions of years of ecosystems for us. Their work, is the reason why we can breath air and are able to live here today. We have tremendous respect for nature and its inhabitants. They have found ways to live in balance with one another. There is no over-consumerism in the natural and animal world. They take what they need and everyone in the collective benefits. For us they are true teachers and we can learn a lot from them.
