Trees On The Map - Jeroen Heindijk

We can create an app for Amsterdam that allows you to upload information from a tree and share it on a special tree map. This way you not only put your favorite trees in the spotlight, but you also ensure that the tree can be registered and protected!

In the early stages of the development of the app you can upload a photo of your tree, with dimensions and a story. We can tell you which tree it is and share other fun facts about the tree!

In the second phase, we would like to display the value per tree in particulate matter capture, water reduction, CO2 storage and how well it works against heat stress. This value ensures that the trees cannot just be felled and the value of your favorite trees is scientifically substantiated!
